In recent days, the bank has launched a new facility which allows any Access Bank Holder to perform transactional activities from anywhere in the world without having Access Bank mobile banking.

Users can make use of this service to transfer funds to any Access and Non-access bank account, access mini statements, To buy airtime balance or check bank account balance on any mobile device such as Android, iOS, Non-OS devices, etc.

How To Register For Access Bank Transfer Code

Users are required to go through the registration process to enable the Transfer code facility for their Access bank accounts. You can register for the service by merely following the below-mentioned steps properly. Make sure your account in Access Bank is the non-dormant state and your Debit card, and Mobile number is linked with your account.

  1. Pull up dialling pad on your phone and dial *901# to begin registration.
  2. On the next screen, you will be asked to enter details related to your Bank account.
  3. Now enter your BVN number and follow the on-screen instructions to proceed further.
  4. Once the registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation on your mobile number.
  5. That’s it, and you’re now eligible to use the Access Bank Transfer code facility.

Note:- Make sure you dial the above-mentioned number from the mobile number which is associated with your Access bank account. Otherwise, the process wouldn’t begin.

Using the transfer code facility, you can perform the following transactional activities on your Access Bank account. Make sure to follow the instructions properly, as mentioned below, to avoid transaction failures.

How To Transfer Funds

Dial this code to transfer money from the access bank account( *901*1*Amount To be Transferred*Bank Account Number of Receiver# E.g. *901*1*3000*5648150511# ) and confirm the transaction by entering the last four digits of your BVN number. Keep in mind that you have to dial the USSD code from your registered mobile number only to imitate the fund transfer process.

To transfer funds to a non-Access bank account, you need to dial *901*2*Amount To be Transferred*Non-access bank account number of the receiver# e.g. *901*2*2330*372678203# and confirm the transaction to proceed.

Once the transaction is authorised by entering the last four digits of your BVN number, the requested amount will be debited from your account. It will be created to the beneficiary account. Using the Access Bank Mobile Transfer Service, you can transfer funds to anyone at any time.

How To Recharge Your Mobile Number

You can purchase airtime balance for your phone number by dialling *901*Amount Of Recharge# and wait for the confirmation message to appear on your mobile phone. The Recharge amount will be debited directly from your Access Bank account.

How To Check Bank Balance

To check your Access Bank Balance, you need to dial *901*5# and enter the last four digits of your BVN number whenever prompted to check your bank account balance. You will receive a message of Access Bank account balance within a few seconds on your mobile number.
