The most convenient way to go about Sears Card activation is online. If you are receiving a Sears Card for the first time, this is the best way to activate it. You will need to open the Citibank portal to activate your Sears Card. That can be done by going to the card’s activation page. It will be necessary to enter account holder’s information in order to go through the Sears Card activation process.

On the Sears Card activation page, you will be asked to enter the card number, name as used on the card, security code, and the last four digits of your social security number. After that, you will click verify. Through that simple and clear process, you will have your card activated.

2. Phone Activation

If you cannot activate your Sears Card online, then you should do it through your phone. This process involves you calling the number on the back of your card. It is the toll-free number. You will either talk to customer service representatives or a machine.

Regardless of whom you will find on the other end of the line, you will be required to provide information such as your Sears Card number, date of birth, and social security number.
