اقبال تیری عظمت کی داستاں کیا سناؤں
تیری زندگی پہ لکھوں تو الفاظ نہ پاؤں

کوئ نہ کرسکا کیا کام وہ تو نے
تیرے کام کی شان میں کیسے بتاؤں

کیا خوب شاعری کا انداز ہے تیرا
اک اک لفظ میں جادو سا چھپا پاؤں

بکھری امت کو ملا دیا تو نے کیسے
تیرے احسان مسلماں کو میں کیسے بتاؤں

تیرے اشعار میں نوجواں کے لیے نصیحت ھے چھپی
کاش اس قوم کو ان باتوں پر چلتا ھوا پاؤں

لوگوں کو جگانے کا جادو تھا پاس تیرے اقبال
ایسا ھی ھنر اے کاش میں بھی پاؤں
