Did you know how easy it is to spend money from your Cash App using a Cash Card? Square has come up with a Visa debit card known as Cash App Card. The card allows you to make payments to retailers and other merchants.
Don’t get it wrong. The Cash card is only connected to the Cash App and not your bank. Of course, the card is separate from your personal debit card connected to your Cash App.
It is very easy to sign up for Cash App. Here is the simple and easy process you need to follow:
Step 1. Download Cash App from Google Play or the iTunes store free of charge.
Step 2. After opening the app, enter your email address or telephone number. You will be sent a confirmation code through any of these two ways.
Step 3. By following the prompts, link your bank account with Cash App. After this, you can send and receive money using the app.
You can only set up a Cash Card after receiving it. On the Cash App, you will tap on Cash Card or on the Dollar Amount appearing on top of the screen, then click on Get Cash Card. After you have confirmed your personal information, you will state your shipping address.
As a last step, you are required to sign and draw something to be laser etched onto your card.
Note that the Cash Card number can typically be accessed through the Cash App. To view it, you will have to tap on Cash Drawer balance appearing on top of the screen. The result is the display of your Cash Card.
Although some of the transactions made on Cash App are free of charge, there are certain transactions for which you will pay a fee.

You will receive an activation QR code together with the Cash Card. By going through the following simple steps, you should be able to activate the card:
Step 1. After opening the Cash App, tap the available balance on your home screen (tap on “Cash & BTC” if your account balance is $0).
Step 2. Tap the image of your Cash Card followed by another tap on “Activate Cash Card”. Alternatively, you can use the “Activate” tab below the image.
Step 3. The Cash App will ask for permission to use your phone’s camera, to scan the activation QR code, tap OK.
Step 4. Hold the phone over the QR code such that it is aligned with the camera. Once the camera captures the information in the QR code, the card will be activated.
Did you know how possible it is to activate the Cash Card without the QR code? The following are the easy steps you have to take:
Step 1. After opening the Cash App, tap the balance amount on your Cash App home screen.
Step 2. Tap “Activate”. Look for the “Help” tab right at the screen’s bottom and tap on it. From the list of choices, select “Use CVV Instead”.
Step 3. By following a simple process, you will be asked to enter the CVV code together with your card’s date of expiration.
